Vestalis Connect :the new patient app for home ventilation

The advent of personalized medicine confirms the importance of a care relationship based on fluid communication. PROMs, indicators of patient-reported outcomes, are therefore recommended by the French National Authority for Health {1} as an aid to shared medical decision-making and personalized care.
Innovation in the service of therapeutic alliances
Vestalis Connect is part of this collaborative approach focused on patients receiving home ventilation. This web and mobile application is available on Android and iPhone for people receiving care from healthcare professionals using Vestalis. Facilitating dialogue, it brings together simple tools, connecting the patient’s experience with the professional’s understanding of it.
Fully integrated into the Vestalis ecosystem, the app empowers patients to take control of their treatment, supports their adherence, and promotes consideration of their specific needs. On Vestalis Connect, each patient can monitor their daily ventilation treatment, complete questionnaires (S3-NIV, Epworth, etc.), and communicate directly with their healthcare team via a secure messaging channel. They can also benefit from personalized recommendations and videos.
Vestalis Connect in 4 features
1. Patients can access daily reports of their ventilation data (machine usage time, mask leakage, respiratory rate, variation in usage time) and their complete history.
2. Messages can be exchanged between patients and their healthcare team.
3. Patients can access questionnaires to complete (S3-NIV, Epworth, etc.) and videos sent by their healthcare team from Vestalis Vision.
4. The news feed provides patients with direct access to the latest information received and facilitates communication with the healthcare team and traceability.
Each stakeholder in remote respiratory monitoring (service provider, physician, and patient) thus benefits from their own interface, tailored to their respective monitoring needs.
With Vestalis Connect, “the Vestalis family is growing to facilitate the deployment of remote monitoring for ventilated patients at home and contribute to improving their care,” concludes Philippe Salamitou, CEO of SRETT.
