Sleep-disordered breathing (SDB)

Sleep-disordered breathing (SDB) encompasses a range of conditions resulting in abnormal breathing during sleep, the most common of which is Obstructive Sleep Apnea-Hypopnea Syndrome (OSAS) [1]. Other conditions include Central Sleep Apnea-Hypopnea Syndrome (CSHA), which includes Cheyne-Stokes respiration (CSR), and Sleep Hypoventilation Syndrome (SHS)[2].
