Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM)

In the context of respiratory diseases treated at the patient’s home, remote patient monitoring (which includes tele-observance) is a form of telehealth that uses connected devices to remotely monitor a patient’s illness and symptoms. It refers to the transmission of data to the homecare provider (HCP) concerning the correct operation of treatment devices: pressures, leaks, compliance with residual AHI under treatment, etc. [1].
