Electronic Health Record (EHR)

An Electronic Health Record (EHR) or electronic patient record (EPR) is the digital version of a patient’s paper file, containing medical history, diagnoses, treatments, vaccination dates, allergies, X-ray images and medical test results [1]. It enables information to be shared between several healthcare professionals in different structures [2].
